The annual 2024 Onizuka Day of Exploration VEX IQ Invitational Scrimmage, held on April 6, 2024 at UH West Oahu, gave 20 elementary and middle school teams an opportunity to play in one final event for the 2023-2024 season. The scrimmage coincided along with the Boy Scouts of America, Aloha Councilʻs Onizuka Day of Exploration event. Along with the Teamwork Champions, NASA themed awards were presented to the teams, including the Artemis, Juno, Hubble, James Webb, Apollo 13 Awards.

Every year, the ODE event draws over 100 hands-on activities, workshops,
and classes for all ages to enjoy.
