The annual Onizuka Day of Exploration featured a VEX IQ Robotics Scrimmage, hosted by HSGC. We featured 16 elementary and middle school teams at the scrimmage tournament. To honor Astronaut Onizuka and the recent Artemis II mission, space-themed awards were presented to teams.

This year's challenge, Mix & Match, is a teamwork challenge game that requires two teams to build stacks out of pins and beams, and place stacks into goals using their designed robots. The Loader role gives students an opportunity to introduce additional pins onto the field, allowing for human-robot interaction.
