2010 Breakthrough Innovation Challenge 1st Place Winners

Group photo of engineering students on Flycopter project at business awards.The Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE) Breakthrough Innovation Challenge for 2010 has been won by a UH student engineering team including Space Grant Master’s Apprentice, Zachary Lee-Ho. Their winning idea is called FlyCopter, a tool for education and research based on a small flying multi-rotor platform. Team members are: Jeremy Chan, Elizabeth Gregory, Zachary Lee-Ho, Michael Menendez, Miguel Nunes, Reid Yamua (all also involved with the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory), and David Hummer.
