Steward Burley Featured in Garden Island Article

Stewart Burley, the Hawai‘i Space Grant Kaua‘i Associate Director and Industry Affiliate, is in the news. In June, Burley participated in model-rocket launches at the U. S. Navy Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kaua‘i during a visit by young people in the Young Presidents Organization. Also at the event were undergraduate summer interns from the Kaua‘i Community College electronics department. See the article in the Garden Island. Burley was honored in May, 2010 as one of two Outstanding Older Americans during the 44th annual Kaua‘i Older American Award Recognition ceremony.
