4th Annual Astronaut Lacy Veach Day of Discovery

The 4th annual Astronaut Lacy Veach Day of Discovery attracted hundreds of students, parents, and teachers to a full day of wonderful workshops, displays, and inspirational talks. Workshop topics included agriculture, chemistry, computer programming, electricity, energy, medicine, modern and ancient navigational techniques, robotics, rocketry, and skydiving. Hawai’i Space Grant proudly supports this annual event with our cosponsors the Hawaiian Electric Company and Punahou School and with the contribution of over one hundred volunteers.
