2003 Fall Fellows and Trainees Symposium

The annual Fall Fellows and Trainees Symposium was held on the Manoa campus. Mentors and Space Grant directors from throughout the islands also participated in the morning activities. The symposium gave new and continuing Fellows and Trainees the opportunity to share research plans and progress, and gave the students a look at space-related subjects outside their own disciplines. NASA Academy Research Associate, Julia Sakamoto, and Lunar and Planetary Institute Intern and former Fellow, Donielle Chittenden (both recent UH Manoa graduates) also gave presentations of their summer experiences.
