Former Space Grant Fellow Wins Alton B. Zerby and Carl T. Koerner Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student Award

Aaron Ohta, senior Electrical Engineering student and former Space Grant Fellow (2002) has just been announced as the winner of the Alton B. Zerby and Carl T. Koerner Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student Award. This award is presented by Eta Kappa Nu, a national honor society for electrical and computer engineering. Aaron will be officially recognized at an awards banquet to be held in Los Angeles this fall. Aaron’s Space Grant project “CubeSat: Student Projects in Satellite Technology” was conducted with mentor Dr. Wayne Shiroma of the Department of Electrical Engineering.
